Smart Alerts
Set up custom alerts for specific market conditions and get notified automatically when they trigger.
What is Smart Alerts?
Smart Alerts is a configurable notification system that monitors the market for specific conditions you define and alerts you when they are met. Instead of staring at screens waiting for something to happen, you set your conditions and let the system watch for you. When a liquidation spike occurs, a price level is hit, or volume surges beyond a threshold, you receive an alert.
The system supports multiple alert types that can be combined for more precise triggers. You can set a simple price alert on a single coin, or create compound alerts that require multiple conditions to be met simultaneously — for example, a volume surge above a threshold combined with price breaking above a key level. This flexibility lets you define exactly the market scenario you are waiting for.
Smart Alerts integrates with the broader DCT Alpha ecosystem, allowing you to set alerts based on data from other tools. You are not limited to basic price notifications — you can trigger alerts on liquidation activity, orderflow imbalances, whale movements, and other platform-specific data points that standard alert systems cannot access.
Key Concepts
- Alert Condition: A specific market state that triggers the alert — price level, volume threshold, liquidation spike, or other measurable criterion
- Compound Alert: An alert that requires multiple conditions to be true simultaneously before triggering
- Alert Types: The categories of conditions available — price-based, volume-based, liquidation-based, and flow-based
- Notification: The delivery of an alert to you when conditions are met, via your configured notification channels
How to Use Smart Alerts
- Open Smart Alerts from the sidebar under Trading Tools
- Click to create a new alert
- Select the alert type and define your conditions (symbol, threshold, direction)
- Optionally add additional conditions for a compound alert
- Save the alert — it begins monitoring immediately and will notify you when triggered
What to Look For
- Bullish signals: Set alerts for heavy short liquidations (indicating short squeezes), large buy volume spikes, or price breaking above key resistance levels you have identified from Volume Profile or chart analysis.
- Bearish signals: Alert on cascading long liquidations, sudden spikes in exchange inflows from whale addresses, or price breaking below key support with volume confirmation.
- Key patterns: Combine alerts from multiple tools for the most powerful setups — for example, alert when a coin shows both a breakout on price and a spike in whale accumulation simultaneously.
- Combine with: Any DCT Alpha tool that generates data you want to be alerted on — particularly Live Liquidations, Whale Radar, Orderflow Screener, and Trading Scanner

Tips
- Be specific with your alert conditions — overly broad alerts will trigger too frequently and become noise you start ignoring
- Set alerts at levels you have pre-analyzed rather than round numbers — a Volume Profile POC or a whale accumulation zone is more meaningful than a psychological price level
- Use Smart Alerts as your first notification, then drill into the relevant tools for confirmation before taking action
