Navigating the Platform
This guide walks you through the DCT Alpha dashboard layout so you can find and use any tool quickly.
Dashboard layout
When you log in, you land on the Dashboard. The interface is organized into these areas:
- Top navigation bar — Account settings, theme toggle, and quick links
- Tool sidebar — A vertical list of all available tools grouped by category
- Main content area — The currently selected tool fills this space
- Symbol selector — Most tools have a symbol picker at the top to switch between trading pairs
Switching between tools
Click any tool name in the sidebar to load it. The sidebar groups tools by category (Analysis, Liquidation, Orderflow, etc.) so you can find related tools quickly.
Tools marked with a lock icon require a Pro subscription. Free users can still see them listed but will be shown an upgrade prompt when clicking.
Selecting a trading pair
Most tools default to BTCUSDT. To change the symbol:
- Look for the symbol selector at the top of the tool
- Click it to open the dropdown
- Type to search or scroll through available pairs
- Select a pair to reload the tool with new data
Some tools (like heatmaps and screeners) show data for many symbols at once and may not have a symbol selector.
Timeframe controls
Tools that display candle/kline data let you choose a timeframe (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1d, etc.). The available timeframes depend on the tool.
Tips
- Dark mode is the default theme and is recommended for extended trading sessions
- Bookmark your most-used tools by noting their sidebar position
- Resize your browser — tools are responsive and adapt to different screen sizes
- The platform works best on desktop browsers with a screen width of 1280px or more
